ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police arrested Megan Turnmire, 41, and Ryan Aumann, 31, for allegedly delivering meth.

In the early morning hours of September 3, the Winnebago County Narcotics Unit and Detective Bureau went to a residence in the 900 block of C Street for a search warrant.

Officials said they found methamphetamine, psilocybin and scales. Turnmire was not present during the search.

Around 2 p.m., authorities were notified Turnmire was attempting to leave the area, according to court documents. The suspect was eventually taken into custody.

Under her Miranda Rights, she told police she was selling meth. She was subsequently released after the interview, according to court records.

The next day, around 10:53 p.m., Rockford Police pulled over a black Nissan Altima that had fled from them on August 8, reports said. Turnmire was driving the car and Aumann was one of two passengers.

Authorities searched the vehicle and found meth in a white bag which Turnmire told them it was hers.

Under his Miranda Rights, Aumann said he has sold and used meth. He also told officials the meth found in the vehicle belonged to Turnmire.

Turnmire is charged with two counts of meth delivery, possession of schedule four substances, and driving on a suspended license.

Aumann is charged with meth delivery.
