    Small plane crashes in Chicago suburb, passengers uninjured

    ROSELLE, Ill. (WTVO) — A small plane crashed near Schaumberg around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

    Reports said the plane crashed into trees at Irving Park Road and Wiliams Street, near the Schaumberg Regional Airport.

    According to FAA registries, the plane is owned by someone from Iowa and was flying from Janesville to Schaumberg.

    Irving Park Road is expected to be closed between Rodenburg and Roselle Roads for more than a few hours, according to the Chicago Sun-Times .

    Officials said the pilot and passenger were just shaken up.

    They were both treated and released at the scene.
