    Police: Hit-and-run suspect drives onto University of Colorado’s football field

    (WTVO) — A pickup truck driver was arrested for allegedly committing a hit-and-run crash and entering the University of Colorado Boulder’s football field.

    On September 12, in the evening, Boulder Police responded to an accident. The driver of the Toyota Tundra that was involved in the crash fled the scene, according to authorities.

    Officers said the truck crashed into several trees, street signs and the football field’s gate. The truck eventually stopped at the 40-yard line.

    Karl Haglund was eventually taken into custody at 7:44 p.m., according to KDVR .
