ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A collision between two cars near a Rockford intersection has caused police to shut the roadway to traffic as they work to free a trapped driver.

According to the Rockford Police Department, just before 11 a.m., the crash happened at the intersection of Charles Street and 22nd Street, in front of Kegel’s Bicycle Store.
