Influencer records terrifying close encounter with bear after climbing into its den

SERBIA (WTVO) — A Serbian influencer recorded video of his terrifying encounter with a bear after climbing inside its den.

The video, which was posted to Instagram on Friday, September 13th, shows Stefan Jankovic inside the bear den as the animal takes a few steps inside, sniffing, before backing out.

Jankovic then climbs to the edge of the den, flipping the camera around to show how close he is to the bear.

“On the edge of life,” he said in the video’s caption.

In a later video, captioned “The one when you have nowhere to run,” he shows himself up in a tree with the bears crawling around the base of the tree.

“You won’t believe what happened to me. I spend 24 hours in the forest and a bear attacks me,” he said, according to a translation.

Serbian media reports there are two bears, Masa and Ljubica, who live in Gornja Paklenica.
