ROCHELLE, Ill. (WTVO) — A 42-year-old motorcycle driver and his 42-year-old female passenger were seriously injured in a Saturday crash when a driver turned in front of them, according to police.

The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at the intersection of East Flagg Road and Brooklyn Road around 5:22 p.m. when a blue Honda, driven by Mary Cesar, 57, of Wheaton, made a left-hand turn onto S. Brooklyn Road and was struck by the motorcycle.

Cesar was cited for Failure to Yield While Turning Left.

The current condition of the motorcyclists is unknown.

I sure hope both of them are going to be okay, and that's one of the reasons why I don't have a motorcycle. they look like fun and I like speed but I love my life BETTER.
