    ISP arrests Sterling man in narcotics investigation

    STERLING, Ill. (WTVO) — Illinois State Police Blackhawk Area Task Force arrested Dakota Bottoms, 29, for allegedly delivering cannabis among other charges.

    Bottoms was released on pre-trial conditions and awaits a further court date in Whiteside County.

    ISP collaborated with the Sterling Police Department, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Scott County Special Operations Unit and Rock Island Police Department conducted the investigation.

    Bottoms’ prosecution will be taken care of by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.

    Bottoms is charged with two counts of delivering cannabis and two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.

    The investigation is open and ongoing. ISP says no further information will be released.

    Someone got raped at that moment which will be let go and they wanted to make an arrest for fn weed. I am not a marijuana smoker but not against it. This is pathetic
