Winnebago Animal Shelter offers discounts on adoptions after reaching max capacity

WINNEBAGO, (WTVO) — Winnebago County Animal Services is at max capacity and is offering discounted adoption fees on dogs, kittens and cats.

The shelter is out of cages and has resorted to pop-up crates as a temporary solution. To make some room for more animals in need, they are looking to “empty the shelters.”

From October 2nd through the 5th adoption fees are being dropped to $25 for select dogs and kittens and $10 for adult cats.

Standard adoption procedures will still be enforced. To be pre-approved for adoption visit the Winnebago County Animal Services website .
