Rochelle joins other Rockford area teams in the latest AP High School football rankings

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — With each passing week of the high school football season the AP State Rankings become more meaningful as we learn more about the teams. The Rochelle Hubs opened a lot of eyes last week when they thumped Morris. The Hubs show up in the 4A rankings this week for the first time.

Sycamore, Belvidere North, Hononegah, Dixon, Boylan, Byron, EPC, and Lena-Winslow are also in the polls. To see where they rate, take a look at the complete rankings below, and watch for many of these teams in action this Friday night on “Overtime” on Fox 39 as we recap the action following either MLB playoff action or the college football game between Northwestern and Maryland.
