Hononegah downs Jefferson to clinch at least a share of the NIC-10 championship

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Hononegah girls are assured of no worse than a share of the NIC-10 volleyball championship thanks to their win at Jefferson Thursday night.

The Indians won 25-15, 25-19. That boosts Hononegah’s NIC-10 record to 14-0 putting them three games ahead of second-place Boylan with three conference games remaining. Overall Hononegah’s record is 18-3. Jefferson is now 11-12, 7-7.
