Large fire extinguished at Top Die Casting Co. in South Beloit

SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WTVO) – Multiple fire departments were called to extinguish a large fire at Top Die Casting Co. on Wednesday morning.

Crews arrived on scene at 13910 Dearborn Ave. in South Beloit around 4:30 a.m. Investigators said they contained the flames to one building. By 6:50 a.m., eyewitnesses said most of the flames and smoke were gone, with several first responder vehicles leaving the scene.

Investigators said there were no reports of injuries from the incident. They have not yet revealed how the fire started. Top Die Casting Co. is a plastic fabrication company that produces die cast machines and other tools.
