    Human remains found on Rock County hunting grounds

    MILTON, Wis. (WTVO) — Authorities in Rock County are investigating after skeletal human remains were found on Sunday morning.

    According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, a hunter found the remains in the area of 8622 N. Pine Road, on public hunting grounds, in Milton Township, around 9:37 a.m.

    The Dane County Medical Examiner concluded the remains were human, and the identity is unknown at this time.

    An investigation is under way in cooperation with the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the medical examiner’s office, but police said there was no immediate threat to the public.

    Regardless, if you like hunting or not , you have to agree that a lot of bodies have been found by hunters over the years.They walk through areas that nobody else does.
