LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Police arrested Brian Klaczek, 33, for allegedly headbutting a man and lighting his trailer on fire.

On October 15, around 6:56 p.m., officers were called to the 5100 block of Rockberry Road because a caller said someone stole merchandise from him.

When police arrived, the victim started yelling at the squad car that Klaczek had headbutted him in the face and lit his trailer on fire.

Authorities found Klaczek behind the trailer and he told them he was the one who called the police.

The victim told officials he went outside to check the noises he and another witness heard from the trailer. He found his shed open and a trail of flames from his home to a gas can, according to court documents.

The victim told police he saw Klazcek laughing and then running away.

Klaczek is charged with aggravated arson while people were present and criminal property damage.
