Byron against Dixon likely for all the marbles in the Big Northern Conference Friday night

DIXON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — There should be attendance records set in Dixon at A.C. Bowers Field Friday night. That’s because the two dominant football teams in the Big Northern Conference will finally meet. Byron will take on Dixon.

Both teams are 7-0, and they have destroyed all of their opponents. The Tigers have outscored their opponents 382-41. The Dukes have outscored their opponents 360-62.

Both teams were also impressive when they stepped outside of the BNC for non-conference games against state-ranked teams. The Tigers won 41-3 at Williamsville handing Williamsville its only loss this season. The Dukes won just last week at Johnston City 40-14 handing Johnston City it’s only loss of the season.
