Rockford Lutheran locks-in playoff berth by shutting out Oregon

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Lutheran Crusaders are headed back to the playoffs for a third straight year. They clinched a postseason appearance by defeating Oregon 24-0 Friday night securing their sixth win of the season.

Quarterback Daniel Ballard rushed for a pair of touchdowns for the Crusaders from 21 yards out and from 27 yards out.

Oregon’s record drops to 4-4. The Hawks need to win their non-conference game next week against Athens to become eligible for the playoffs.
