20 football teams of interest in the Rockford area are set for IHSA playoff action

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The playoff field is set and so are the first-round matchups for the IHSA football postseason. There are 20 teams of interest from the Rockford area that will take the field next weekend. The games will be played either Friday night or on Saturday. Those will be locked in by the schools later this weekend.

Following is a look at the matchups and the seedings in each class.
