Richards and Officer D. Thompson reported that the driver of a purple Dodge pickup truck was traveling southbound near the intersection of Lockwood Drive and Market Street when it was struck by a red Nissan Sentra traveling westbound on Market Street. The Dodge rolled several times and came to rest on its hood.Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the driver of the Dodge deceased. The driver of the Nissan, identified as 26-year-old Lakeisha Woodfork, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.Woodfork was determined to be intoxicated and subsequently charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in Harris County Criminal Court #12, according to the press release.The investigation is ongoing to determine which driver was at fault for the crash.</div></body>
