11-year-old girl reported missing in Denton
DENTON, Texas — An 11-year-old girl named Risa was last seen in the 900 block of Greenlee Street near Bernard Street around 11:40 a.m. today, according to the City of Denton Police Department.Risa was wearing a light-green hoodie, black shorts, a black purse, and tennis shoes at the time of her disappearance. Authorities are actively searching the area for her and urge anyone who sees her to call 911 immediately.
Constables arrest home invasion suspects after traffic stop
HOUSTON, Texas — Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested three suspects linked to a recent home invasion following a traffic stop on July 17, 2024. The traffic stop occurred in the 13400 block of Greenlow Drive at Rankin Road. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Demerce Dennis, who had an open warrant for Indecent Assault; Harron Jennings, found in possession of illegal narcotics; and Tommy Armstead, a convicted felon. During the investigation, deputies discovered the vehicle was involved in a home invasion in the Gleannloch Farms neighborhood on July 15, 2024, where four armed males in ski masks entered a residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.
DWI suspect crashes into three patrol vehicles, causing thousands in damage
HOUSTON, Texas — Ginger Williams was arrested on July 16, 2024, and charged with her fifth DWI after crashing into three patrol vehicles parked at a police station. The incident occurred at the corner of Louetta and Malcomson, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4. Williams received a personal bond and has since been released, awaiting her next court date. She had just completed probation for her fourth DWI, which also involved a crash, before being arrested for her fifth.

On the evening of July 12, the suspect entered a hotel in the 1000 block of Highway 6 North, pointed a gun at the clerk, and stole a sizable amount of cash from the register, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 5. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect drinking at the hotel bar just before the robbery.
Truck driver threatening self taken into custody after pursuit
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A truck driver who allegedly threatened to shoot himself was taken into custody after a pursuit that began in Port Aransas and ended near Callicoate. Nueces County Precinct Five Constable deputies were requested to assist Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers on Interstate Highway 37. The suspect's tires were spiked by other agencies, bringing the vehicle to a stop in a field a short distance into San Patricio County, according to the press release. The driver was taken into custody without incident.
Temple police identify pedestrian killed in fatal accident

Houston police investigate death of woman found in apartment
HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 1211 Gober Street about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday. The identity of the 31-year-old woman is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Detectives M. Althaus and P. Michon, HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the residence and met with a witness. Floresville man sentenced to 30 years for sexual exploitation of child after assaulting 7yr old at daycare
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A Floresville man has been sentenced to 360 months in federal prison for the sexual exploitation of a seven-year-old girl. Rodney Allan Felux, 45, sexually assaulted and exploited the child while she attended a residential daycare in December 2022, according to court documents. The victim informed her mother of the incident, prompting an investigation. During a forensic interview, the victim disclosed that she was blindfolded, taken to a shed, and sexually assaulted while Felux took numerous explicit images of her.

Human remains found in wastewater lift station identified as missing Texas A&M student
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Forensic analysts have identified human remains found in a wastewater lift station as those of missing Texas A&M student Caleb Harris. City workers discovered the remains on June 24 while conducting maintenance at the Perry Place wastewater lift station on Lexington Road. The remains were transported to the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office, but due to advanced decomposition, identification was not possible at the time. The remains were then sent to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification (UNTCHI) for DNA analysis, along with samples from Harris’s parents.
