HOUSTON, Texas — Authorities are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at the Versace store in the Houston Premium Outlet Mall. On June 29, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the store, located in the 29000 block of the Northwest Freeway, following a report of theft. According to management, an unknown Black male suspect entered the store and selected merchandise valued at nearly $5,000. The suspect fled the store with the unpaid items after being confronted by management.
ICE Agents and Local Authorities Arrest Six in Bosque County Motel Raid
MERIDIAN, Texas — Six individuals with federal warrants were arrested at a local motel in Meridian following a joint operation by ICE agents and local law enforcement. On Tuesday evening, July 16, 2024, Deputy Tyler Shaw of the Bosque County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop involving several Hispanic males. Information from the stop led Deputy Shaw to contact an ICE agent from the Waco office. The following day, authorities were alerted that two of the individuals were illegal aliens with federal felony warrants, according to a press release from the Bosque County Sheriff's Office.

Couple Found Dead in Abilene in Apparent Murder-Suicide
ABILENE, Texas — A man and woman were found dead with gunshot wounds in the front yard of a home early Wednesday morning, police say. Officers responded to a call just before 2 a.m. on July 17, 2024, at a residence in the 5200 block of South 7th Street, according to a press release from the Abilene Police Department. Upon arrival, they discovered 47-year-old Narsiso Alamilla and 49-year-old Baby Costancio, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The two were in a dating relationship. Next of kin notifications have been made, and detectives with Criminal Investigations are treating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
