Suspect arrested for robbery at Rio Bravo establishment
RIO BRAVO, Texas — A man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly robbing a local establishment, according to the Webb County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to "Las Maquinitas" on the 1200 block of Espejo Molina for an assault report. The victim stated that an unknown male had forcefully taken money from her. Surveillance footage showed a man in a red and black T-shirt with an American Fighter logo and blue jeans taking money from the victim and fleeing.

Wanted man dies at hospital after police standoff and allegedly shooting at police
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A suspect was shot and killed by police after a standoff in the 400 block of Morningview Drive on July 9, 2024. Officers responded to a call for a wanted person, identified as 52-year-old Juan Antonio Hernandez, who had three active felony warrants for burglary habitation, domestic violence strangulation, and evading, according to San Antonio Police Chief McManus. Hernandez barricaded himself inside the residence, prompting SWAT officers to the scene. After several hours, Hernandez exited the home and fired several rounds at officers, striking their vehicles. Two officers returned fire, hitting Hernandez. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. No officers were injured.

Dallas police issue arrest warrant in fatal shooting
DALLAS, Texas — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot outside a home in Dallas on July 9, 2024, leading to an arrest warrant for another man, police say. Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at approximately 7:10 p.m. in the 4500 block of Silver Springs Circle. Upon arrival, officers found Maikal Izaipe, 25, shot on the ground. Dallas Fire Rescue responded, but Izaipe was pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation identified the suspect as 25-year-old Naudy Hernandez Perez. According to the preliminary investigation, the two men got into a fight, and Hernandez Perez shot Izaipe. An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Hernandez Perez.
