Upon arrival, they found a white Ford Expedition that had damaged a nearby fence. Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicle lost control, struck the fence, and came to a stop in a resident's yard. The passenger then fled the scene.

The victim was transported to the hospital, is in stable condition, and cooperating with investigators, according to the Beaumont Police Department. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male last seen heading eastbound on Saxe toward Park Street in a black Chevy Avalanche (2006 to 2010 model) with no tint, a lift kit, stock wheels, and rims.
Apartment fire displaces residents, no injuries reported

Third overdose death at same location leads to seized drugs and one arrest

HOUSTON, Texas — The fatal stabbing of a man early Sunday morning will be referred to a Harris County grand jury. The deceased male has been identified as 41-year-old Wallace Horton. According to the Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp, officers responded to a report of a male who had been stabbed in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 9560 Deering Drive around 12:35 a.m. Upon arrival, they located Horton and provided first aid until Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased several hours later.
Crash leaves one dead, three injured
MIDLAND, Texas — A two-vehicle crash in Midland County resulted in one fatality and three injuries, according to the Texas Highway Patrol.The incident occurred at 6:17 p.m. on July 3 at the intersection of TX 158 and County Road 60. A 2014 Dodge Avenger, driven by 59-year-old Sherrie Robinson of Midland, Texas, was westbound on County Road 60 and stopped at the intersection. The vehicle allegedly failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a 2018 Ford F-350 traveling southeast on TX 158, driven by 51-year-old Herbert Fontenot of Goldsmith, Texas.Robinson sustained minor injuries and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital. Her passenger, 62-year-old Timothy Earl Bradford of Midland, Texas, was pronounced deceased by medical staff after being transported to the same hospital.Fontenot was not injured in the crash. However, his passenger, 31-year-old Brandy Brown of Goldsmith, Texas, was also transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.The crash is currently under investigation by Trooper Strakele of the Texas Highway Patrol in Midland. No further information is available at this time.
