Rockport woman dies in fatal collision on State Highway 35
ROCKPORT, Texas — A 37-year-old Rockport woman was killed in a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 35, police said. The Rockport Police Department responded to the crash at 12:44 p.m. on July 24 in the 4800 block of State Highway 35 N. The incident occurred when a 2013 Cadillac CTS, traveling northbound, entered the westbound turn lane at John D. Wendell Road and crossed into the southbound lane. The Cadillac then collided with a 2015 Ford F350, which was traveling southbound with a dump trailer. The impact caused the trailer to jackknife and initiate a second collision with the Cadillac.
