(OAKLAND, Calif.) Two women were injured in separate shootings in East Oakland Wednesday night, East Bay Times reports.

The shootings happened less than two hours apart.

The first shooting occurred around 7:16 p.m. in the 5400 block of International Boulevard when several bullets hit a popular food truck in the area, Tacos Las Amigos, injuring a 37-year-old woman who was working at the time.

She was hit by fragments, causing wounds to her upper body. Investigators found over 40 shell casings in the area but have not determined if the shooter was in a car or on foot or a possible motive for the shooting.

At least one other vehicle was hit with gunfire during the shooting.

The second shooting took place in the 2500 block of 64th Avenue at 8:54 p.m. when a woman driving her car was hit by shots fired by someone on foot. Numerous shots hit her car as well as a parked car in the area.

Investigators found 20 shell casings at the scene.

The injured woman drove to an area near the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Coolidge Avenue where she made contact with authorities before being transported to a nearby hospital.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information on each of the shootings leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Information can be submitted by contacting the Oakland Police Department at 510-238-3426 or by calling Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
