KCSO investigating suspicious death on Cottonwood Road

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Deputies in Lamont are investigating a suspicious death of a body found on Cottonwood Road Tuesday morning.

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a subject down in the road, just before 7 a.m. on Cottonwood Road between DiGiorgio Road and Buena Vista Boulevard.

At the scene, deputies found a man’s body off the shoulder of the road with “suspicious injuries.” Homicides detectives are investigating the man’s death.
