Hagestad wins U.S. Mid-Am at Sankaty

(Oct. 1 2021) Stewart Hagestad had to survive a furious comeback from Mark Costanza to capture the 2021 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Sankaty Head Golf Club Friday. Hagestad, of Newport Beach, Calif., had a five-hole lead at the end of play yesterday, which he carried into the final 18 holes today.
