    Nantucket lifts indoor mask mandate

    (Oct. 21, 2021) The Nantucket Board of Health voted unanimously Thursday to end the island-wide indoor mask mandate, effective immediately. There is, however, a caveat: if the town’s concentration of the virus in wastewater sampling rises to 50 percent or more in comparison to other towns that test, it will trigger an automatic two-week mask mandate.
