SAMA Ligonier to Host a Special Moth Night At The Museum
LIGONIER– The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier is excited to announce a special “Moth Night” event at SAMA Ligonier. In collaboration with Penguin Court and Brandywine Conservancy, and Powdermill Nature Reserve, this wonderful event will run from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The family event is designed to enrich and educate children and adults on various moths/pollinators that fill the skies at night! The cost to attend is $5 and the proceeds will be used to help support the gardens and our special pollinators.

He has many memories as a boy in the 1950s that give some insight to the people and culture of Martinsburg in the 1950s. John likes to tell stories and over the years he has repeated the stories of his youth many times. His belief is that those years in Martinsburg influenced him all of his life. Some of the stories are historical in nature, some are colorful, and some are personal. He wishes that you enjoy them.

This family event is designed to enrich and educate children and adults on various pollinators and native flora. A donation of $10 per family is suggested, and the proceeds will be used to help support the gardens and our important pollinators.
