Ethan Downie Osterhout, 35, of Indiana passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. A son of Karl E. Osterhout and Alison J. Downie, he was born Aug. 6, 1988, in Pittsburgh. Ethan relished being a Pittsburgher, even while he lived in Georgia for several years after graduating from Towson University. He had lived in Indiana since 2020. Ethan enjoyed sports, was a loyal fan of the Steelers and the Penguins, and Primanti’s was his favorite restaurant. As a little boy, Ethan loved Thomas the Tank Engine trains. As an adult, he often wore a t-shirt featuring a Thomas train logo.

Mary Ellen Lindsey, age 99, of Roaring Spring, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was born April 14, 1925, in Wheeling, WV., the daughter of the late Norris Fenton and Mary Ellen (Miller) Overly. She married William Edgar Lindsey on September 30, 1944 and he died November 26, 2009.

Arlan D. Barkman, 93, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on July 7, 2024, at Homewood in Martinsburg. He was born on April 22, 1931, in Woodbury, son of the late Lester Carl and Alma Ruth (Boor) Barkman. On May 17, 1951 in Winchester, Va., he was united in marriage to Dolores J. (Pepple) Barkman who preceded him in death on June 5, 2022.
