One of the founders of a long-standing fuel sales business has passed away. Jane Coleman of Brush Valley founded Accent Fuels with her husband in 1964. She worked there for almost 50 years before Accent’s warehouse was destroyed by a fire in 2013. The business had been sold to their sons prior to the fire on West Indiana Street. ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The 36th Annual Blair Media Blood Blitz is back on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. This is one of the largest blood drives in the county, and the event runs until 6 p.m. at the Altoona Junior High Field House. Walk ins are welcome, and everyone is encouraged to donate if you can.
