Calistoga reopens cooling center as heat advisory begins
Calistoga announced a reopening of a city cooling center in response to a new spate of hot weather expected in the Napa Valley this week. The cooling space will be available from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday to Friday at the Calistoga Community Center, 1307 Washington St. The building was one of several locations across Napa County to offer air-conditioned refuge last week, when temperatures well above 100 degrees prompted excessive heat warnings across Northern California.
