ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A second man has been arrested in connection to a 2022 homicide on Chugach Way in the Spenard neighborhood, according to the Anchorage Police Department. Haines Borough Manager Annette Kreitzer will leave her job in a month. The borough just started to advertise for the position. They discussed the matter at their last meeting. Kreitzer told the assembly she has placed an ad in the Chilkat Valley News to seek applicants. This meets the minimum requirements of borough code. Kodiak's Acting City Manager and Harbormaster are two finalists for city manager job
The list of candidates for the City of Kodiak’s next manager is now cut down to two people; both are already city employees.
