Political leaders in Washington state are responding to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally over the weekend. While many have condemned the violence, others have called its motivation into question. Jim Walsh, chair of the state GOP, said he learned of the shooting at a Milwaukee Brewers game. He was with a number of delegates and staff who’d arrived at the Republican National Convention early. Hymas Update – “I Was In The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time”
The 250 Moto 2 at the Millville National went wild. Heavy rain and a lightning storm delayed the race, and chaos ensued in the first turn. Chance Hymas appeared to secure the holeshot but lost traction, sticking his leg out and catching Deegan’s front wheel, causing Deegan to crash. Hymas, who was second in 250 points, injured himself and was out of the race. Honda HRC reported a foot or ankle injury, but x-rays were negative. He will undergo further tests for ligament damage, as he couldn’t put weight on the foot.
