Renton Man Suspected of Vehicular Assault in Multi-Car Crash on State Route 900, Four Injured
A serious five-vehicle collision disrupted traffic and ignited a roadside fire on State Route 900 in Renton this past Sunday. KIRO 7 reports that four individuals were injured in the crash, including one in serious condition. Eastside Fire & Rescue responded to the scene near SE May Valley Road after one of the cars burst into flames, resulting in a brush fire.
Teens in car intentionally strike boy riding bike in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Police are investigating after a car 'deliberately' struck a boy on a bicycle in Bellevue Saturday night. The Bellevue Police Department (BPD) confirmed with FOX 13 that at around 8:22 p.m., a car full of juveniles intentionally crashed into the 13-year-old victim. Authorities say the incident happened on Lake Washington Blvd. NE near Clyde Beach Park.
Edmonds Sand Sculpture contest gets underway July 19
An annual summer tradition, the Edmonds Sand Sculpture contest is scheduled for Friday, July 19 at Brackett’s Beach, just south of the Edmonds-Kingston ferry terminal. Check-in at the Edmonds Waterfront Center Wedding Circle, just outside the Waterfront Center at 220 Railroad Ave. Registration opens at 11 a.m. and judging starts at 1 p.m. Bucket awards are presented at 2:30 p.m.
4 hospitalized after suspected drunk driver causes crash on Highway 106
Three members of a Federal Way family were sent to the hospital on Sunday night after a collision with a drunk driver along the south shore of Hood Canal. The family was driving east on Highway 106 south of Belfair with two adults, a 10-year-old, 16-year-old and 18-year-old in the car, when a 2021 Mazda CX 30 driving the opposite direction crossed over the center line and struck their 2014 Lexus GX460 near milepost 13 at 7:26 p.m., reported the Washington State Patrol. Both cars were totaled and came to rest in the middle of the road.
New signs at Don Armeni Boat Ramp

A 50-year-old pedestrian who was hit and killed on U.S. Highway 101 in Thurston County Friday night has been identified, according to the Washington State Patrol. About 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, Denver J. Davis, of Aberdeen, was on the right shoulder of the highway when he was struck by a driver headed north.
