Angels Select WVU Pitcher Derek Clark in 9th Round of MLB Draft
Derek Clark became the fourth WVU baseball player drafted when the Angeles took him in the ninth round of the 2024 MLB Draft. The Los Angeles Angels selected Clark with the 262nd pick. Public ice skating rink in the works at Mylan Park
MORGANTOWN W.Va – A public ice rink is set to open in late 2025 at Mylan Park, according to Mylan Park Foundation President Ron Justice. The arena’s exact design is still in the early stages, but Justice said the rink will most likely include one sheet of ice with locker rooms and seating, as well as a skate rental shop. He said their hope is to have the rink open in fall 2025.
