The Mountaineer Maniacs is the largest student organization on campus and official student section of WVU Sports. Here’s how to become a member of the Maniacs. To become a Maniac, students must register online for one of two membership types. Basic Membership, which costs $25 annually, includes a Maniacs tee shirt, watch party invitations, Olympic sports giveaways, away basketball and football trip invitations and a 20% discount at the Book Exchange. The Ultimate Membership costs $50 annually and offers the same benefits but guarantees football tickets.
26 dogs rescued from deplorable conditions at Ohio home
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (KDKA) -- More than two dozen dogs were rescued from deplorable conditions at a home in Ohio, an animal shelter said.The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County said the 26 dogs and their elderly owner were found living in "deplorable conditions." We are halfway through the work week, and we have finally cooled down with the help of a frontal system that is also providing us rain showers and storms throughout the day today. High temperatures have lowered about 10 degrees, with highs only reaching into the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations. These storms do have a bit of potential for severity, with wind gusts up to 35MPH in the more mountainous regions in the valleys especially.

Herd ace hosts baseball camp in hometown
LOUISA, Ky. (WSAZ) - In baseball terms, the first year of the Bryce Blevins camp was equivalent to throwing a no-hitter. Over 100 kids ranging from Hurricane, WV to various locations in the Commonwealth showed up Tuesday to learn from the Marshall pitcher.
