Is it too early to talk football?

Not according to our sports staff who started rolling out advance coverage of the upcoming high school season. Practice starts Monday and they’ve already compiled a list of what they think will be the best games in Southwest Florida for the 2024 season.

Golf may be more your thing, so read the series of stories on the toughest holes in town . We’ve even got how-to tips to conquer them, or at least not have to color a solid square on your scorecard.

You need a scorecard to tally all the restaurants that have come and gone in Naples. Our summer intern Ellessandra Taormino asked readers what ones they would bring back if they could and it sparked dozens of responses....and a whole lot of memories.

If you’re looking to make new memories when family comes to visit, Diana Biederman has a list of dining out recommendations that are appealing to all ages.

Meanwhile, summer intern Hannah Holmes has a roundup of where kids can eat free as well as some other summer deals so you don't have to break the bank.

That’s a whole lot of news you can use. Thanks to you, our subscribers, we get to keep producing this great content in this even greater community. Got a tip? Email me at wfullert@gannett.com .

    All the best,
