Authorities search for missing man in Picayune Strand State Forest

Multiple agencies are searching for a missing man last seen Thursday driving in the Collier Boulevard area in East Naples.

Eduardo Ramirez, 64, from Golden Gate Estates is described as 5’ 6” and 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is heavily tattooed with two full sleeves on his arm and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark colored polo shirt.

The vehicle he was driving was found in a remote area off Beck Boulevard in East Naples.

Multiple patrol and K9 are involved in the search, including mounted patrol and aviation units.

On Saturday, the search was extended into the Picayune Strand State Forest not far from where his car was last seen.
