The highly anticipated arrival of the artificial intelligence-driven new iPhone 16 from Apple is Sept. 9.

The latest version of the iPhone will be available at 10 a.m., including right here in Southwest Florida − if you prefer to buy it in person instead of online − at the Waterside Shops Apple Store at 5555 Tamiami Trail in North Naples or the Apple Store at Coconut Point in Estero on 23151 Fashion Dr. Other retailers like Target carry Apple products.

The Waterside Shops Apple Store and the Coconut Point store are the only two options in this neck of the woods. If that option doesn't work for you the next closest would be Sarasota for those of you living in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, and Miami for Collier County residents.

How big is Apple's standalone store footprint in Florida?

It's big. If you look at Apple's retail store location page on its website , only California (53) where the Apple headquarters are located and New York (23) have more Apple stores than the Sunshine State (18). Miami leads the way in Florida with three Apple Stores. There is also one in Miami Beach .

What will the iPhone 16 look like?
