If you lost power, chances are your neighborhood restaurant did too.

Food safety is important and it’s why we run the health inspection reports every week.

When a restaurant isn’t paying attention to proper sanitation protocols on normal days, imagine what gets neglected while cleaning up after a storm?

Through Oct. 6: 4 Collier County restaurants, 1 food truck perfect; 1 closed; 15 fail inspection

When searching for hot meals when you have nothing available at home, weigh your options carefully. Just because a restaurant has a fancy address doesn’t mean it’s following the Health Department’s rules.

    Tips

    • Consider bringing cash as WiFi is out in spots; credit card processing might be an issue.
    • Pay attention to roadblocks and stoplight outages.

Open for business Thursday, Oct. 10
