Naples, FL - A Southwest Florida man was arrested after throwing his bicycle, yelling at pedestrians, and resisting arrest near a Starbucks on 5th Avenue South in Naples.

According to the Naples Police Department, officers received multiple calls reporting a disorderly man harassing pedestrians on the 700 block of 5th Avenue South.

Witnesses reported that the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Stephen Agee, was yelling at people and throwing his bicycle.

Responding officers located Agee sitting on a bench with a backpack near his bicycle.

The encounter followed an earlier incident that same day where officers had already instructed Agee to leave the area after a witness reported seeing Agee throw his bicycle at a woman and verbally abuse an elderly pedestrian.

When officers attempted to arrest Agee, he reportedly tensed up and resisted.

Police also report that Agee kicked the patrol car door during his transport to jail.

Agee was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.
