Elite safety prospect Jonah Williams set for a return trip to LSU
LSU has a ton of momentum on the recruiting trail right now, and it’s looking to bring yet another five-star prospect into the fold. Top-10 national prospect and America’s No. 1 safety Jonah Williams will be heading back to Baton Rouge on Friday for an unofficial visit, according to LSU Country’s Zack Nagy. It will be Williams’ second trip to LSU in as many months after he took his official visit in June. One of LSU’s top remaining targets and a two-sport athlete that the Tigers are also recruiting to play baseball, Williams would be a massive addition to a class that already ranks in the top five. LSU seemingly has some ground to make up here. Williams has recently received multiple crystal ball projections in favor of Texas A&M, and Oregon is considered the favorite according to the On3 recruiting prediction machine. But getting him back on campus is a good sign, and the Tigers will hope to make a strong impression this weekend.
