Already past the middle of the year 2021, the world continues its fight against the covid-19 pandemic. The city of Los Angeles faces the delta variant, which is considered the most contagious virus variant.

According to the Directions to Seremi Salud Delegation Biobio, Los Angeles has the highest concentrated number of cases in the region, with 19,858 as of July 4, 2021.

Even if a return to quarantine has not been indicated, given the current situation, the use of masks in closed and crowded places is recommended since the city of Los Angeles continues to present the highest percentage of cases in the state of California.

Although the high efficacy of vaccines in infected people has been proven, masks are a recommendation. Even if this one continues without being mandatory, it is prudent to continue with the necessary care since the Delta variant is the third most common in California, and its percentage continues to rise.

People who were fully vaccinated did not have severe cases of the disease". Said Los Angeles County Public Health Director Bárbara Ferrer last week. Ballotpedia.org.

President Joe Biden, in recent statements, shows optimism to reach the figure of 70% in the adult population, despite not meeting the goal for July 4. However, he asks us not to lower our guard since the disease continues to be a constant danger.

Regardless of the efforts made by the different state institutions, the current pandemic will only be stopped with the individual support of each citizen, becoming aware of what he should not do, taking care of himself and others.

It's not a vaccination. When you get a polio vaccination you won't get polio, I have 2 friends that had covid 19 after their full "vaccination"
