Seahawks DB K'Von Wallace builds momentum by ending practice with pick 6
Seattle Seahawks veteran defensive back K’Von Wallace has been one of the bigger surprise performers at training camp. The former Clemson standout has consistently made plays while proving he belongs on the 53 man roster. Wallace ended Tuesday’s practice with a pick-six return touchdown of quarterback Sam Howell, according to multiple media members in attendance.

WENATCHEE - A local man is likely mapping out his financial plans after winning big in Washington's Lottery last week. According to the Washington Lottery website, Joseph H. bought a Hit 5 ticket from Wenatchee's WinCo Foods store on Friday, August 16 and won $135,000. With the odds of winning being 1 in 851,000, Joseph was at the right place at the right time when he drew the ticket that won the cashpot. In order to win the cashpot, a person must match all five of their numbers with the drawn white ball numbers.

U.S. 2 in Sultan is getting $16.5 million in improvement funds
U.S. 2 in Sultan is about to undergo a transformation and it will cost $16.5 million. Construction will begin next spring on a new roundabout at Old Owen Road, featuring crosswalks and new curbs.
