    Summer meal program up and running

    NASHVILLE — Nash County Public Schools kicked off its summer meal program last week, providing free breakfast and lunch to children ages 18 and under through Aug. 8.

    The initiative, staged at 11 schools, will operate each week from Monday through Thursday.

    June 11-27 | July 8 – Aug. 1

    • Northern Nash High School

    • Nash Central High School

    • Rocky Mount Senior High School

    • Southern Nash High School

    Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    June 11-27

    • Red Oak Middle School

    • Southern Nash Middle School

    Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    July 8 – Aug. 1

    • Benvenue Elementary School

    • Coopers Elementary School

    • Hubbard Elementary School

    • Spring Hope Elementary School

    Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 a.m., with lunch from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

    June 12-27 | July 8 – Aug. 8

    • Nash Central Middle School

    Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    • Rocky Mount Senior High School

    Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
