Outlaws sweep Texarkana in a doubleheader
JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Outlaws wrap up a 7-game series against the Texarkana Rhinos. The series opener and finale included doubleheaders for the longest home stand of the season. Joplin wins game in a 6-0 shutout. The Outlaws come back in Game 2 to defeat Texarkana 4-3 on a walk-off bases loaded walk by Kahle Good. Joplin earns a day off of rest. The Outlaws return to Joe Becker Stadium this Tuesday vs Fort Smith.
Dr. Jessie Little joins NARMC pediatrics clinic
North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) recently welcomed Dr. Jessie Little, a pediatrician, to the medical team.Dr. Little earned her bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia and furthered her medical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She attended a residency at both the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. An impactful milestone in Dr. Little’s career includes the development of a widely distributed breastfeeding education video at UAMS aimed at supporting both parents and healthcare providers.

Outgoing Southern Arkansas senior golfer Connor Harrington has been named to the College Sports Communicators Men's At-Large Academic All-American Third Team. Harrington adds to his already stocked up resume from 2023-24 as the Magnolia native has been named a GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete, the Murphy USA Male Scholar Athlete of the Year award recipient (Seventh Annual Mulespys), and now an Academic All-American.
