ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A sun/cloud mix and mostly dry on Tuesday. Isolated showers pushed in from the south early evening with chances holding through midnight. More unsettled weather is on tap for the week. Rain chances ramp up tomorrow through Friday then trend downward over the weekend. Wednesday showers and storms become widely scattered during the afternoon and evening. Expect periods of heavy rain which may result in isolated flash flooding especially in low lying areas. Several inches of rain have fallen and with saturated soils additional rain may result in flash flooding.

Police: Suspect wanted in Albany kidnapping at gunpoint
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department (APD) is asking for the community’s help in finding a suspect in a kidnapping incident.
