The Predators appear to have lost their momentum, following their franchise-record 18-game point streak with three straight losses to the Arizona Coyotes , Colorado Avalanche and Boston Bruins . Their April 4 home matchup against a desperate St. Louis Blues team will be a major opportunity for them to regain some of that momentum – but they need to fix their defense and their power play first.

There are also a number of similarities between this Predators team and the team that made it to the Stanley Cup Final in 2017, including a hot March and a below-average April – but is that necessarily a good thing?
