The Nashville Predators have come back to win a game 13 times this season, the most recent coming in dramatic fashion. The comeback victory against the Vegas Golden Knights was not only the team's largest comeback win of the season, it came against the other team the Predators are fighting for positioning with in the Western Conference wildcard race.
To raise the excitement of the game in which the Predators came from behind three goals and recorded at least a point in 18 straight games, they did so in the third period. Of the team's 72 games and 43 wins, they have only made a third period comeback six times. This was the third against a team in playoff position.
Of the 13 comeback wins this season, the Predators have only had to erase a 1-0 lead five times, but two came in the third period against the New York Islanders and Minnesota Wild mid-season. The Wild are also the only team that the Predators have come back on multiple times this season, also doing so during their 18-game point streak.
Speaking of the streak where Nashville has won 16 games, the team has only had to come back in three of those games. Two I've mentioned with the Wild and Golden Knights, but in between those was a comeback from being down 2-1 to the San Jose Sharks in which the game ended up finishing 8-2 for the Predators.

In six of the 13 comebacks, the Predators have had to erase different leads twice. The first came in the eighth game of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs where Nashville was down 1-0 and 2-1. The most recent one being the Predators' win over the Golden Knights. The other teams this was done against were the Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina Hurricanes, and Philadelphia Flyers. And of those six comebacks, the Hurricanes were the only team that held three different leads on the Predators of 2-1, 4-2, and 5-3. That game included a third period comeback to top it all off.
The Predators have come back in games and won against playoff teams seven of the 13 times. Their resiliency in games is going to be a problem for their playoff opponents when games matter even more.
