Nearly two weeks after country music sensation Morgan Wallen was arrested in Nashville for allegedly throwing a chair from a rooftop bar, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to break his silence.

The posts made it clear Wallen isn’t proud of what happened that night, but that no changes will occur to his tour schedule.

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” Wallen wrote on social media. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.

I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”

On April 7, the 30-year-old country star was charged with three felony counts by the Metro Nashville Police Department after he allegedly threw a chair off the roof of the six-story Chief’s bar.

In an April 8 tweet by the Metro Nashville Police Department, they wrote “Country artist Morgan Wallen, 30, was booked early today on 3 cts of felony reckless endangerment and 1 ct of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s Bar Sun night. The chair landed on Broadway, close to 2 MNPD officers. His bond: $15,250.”

Wallen was seen walking out of the MNPD the next morning by TMZ after posting bail.

Court documents show that Wallen’s first scheduled court appearance has been set for the morning of May 3. Conveniently, Wallen is scheduled to perform at Nissan Stadium in Nashville that evening.

The One Night at a Time tour kicked off in Indianapolis on April 4, and has planned tour stops all throughout the country with his opening acts Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith, and Lauren Watkins. For the full tour schedule, visit https://morganwallen.com.
