Copper Hill Farmstead readies for grand opening

NASHVILLE — A new local business emphasizing homegrown sensibilities and community spirit will soon be open on a full-time basis.

The Copper Hill Farmstead, a small-scale roadside stand located at 2977 N.C. Highway 58, will hold its grand opening on June 23 — complete with traditional products and multiple payment options.

“We have the honor system in place,” said Abbi Rae Bullard, who introduced the endeavor on Monday via Instagram. “That allows us to run our farmstand unmanned, making it more flexible for our family.”

Payments can be made in cash — exact change is required — or through the Venmo app, which can be accessed by scanning a QR code located in the stand.

“The great thing about the honor system is it gives you time to look around the farm stand and see what all they offer and not feel rushed,” Bullard remarked. “So we hope you’ll come by and visit us.”

In addition to fresh-cut flowers, farm-fresh eggs and handmade gifts, the operation also participates in a poultry co-op.
